Be a part of history! Under Armour is expanding its Footwear product lines and we are searching for a talented Senior Footwear Developer for Running. The Senior Developer will independently manage and drive the footwear creation process from concept through commercialization. Primary workload will include Core and Statement product, all genders and all category types. This is a great opportunity to lead our Brand, creating from your own inspirations and ideas.

What will I do at UA?

Actively lead and engineer project prototyping in Baltimore through tech package generation.
Work closely with Asia counterparts, pattern engineering, design, and marketing, to drive the tech package process.
Effectively communicates with Asia Liaison development, factory personnel, marketing, design, pricing and production to better execute design concepts into production.
Responsible for all aspects of projects in footwear systems.
Coordinates and follows up on development of prototype product with project managers and Asian development team.
Point person between marketing, design and outside contractors during development process, monitoring progress through to finalization; act as point person for all development related communication.
Manages the fit and wear process with test managers, design and Asia to make appropriate changes to the projects as needed.
Drives development timelines.
What does UA need from me?

Bachelor’s degree in Footwear/Textile Design, Technology, Merchandising, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
5+years of footwear or athletic equipment industry experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Knowledge of footwear/apparel/accessory construction, material construction and properties, textile manufacturing, costing, pattern making, mold engineering and materials, lasts, embroidery and screen printing make you and IDEAL candidate.
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with a diverse group of people.
